I made the base with double cotton yarn, the purse will be strong enough and no need to made a lining inside. The purse is 6 inches wide at the bottom and 6 inches tall.
Materials:
Coton yarn suitable for a 3 mm hook. For the basic colors I use SCM Catania (1,75 oz = 137 yds) color 246 and color 226
For the roof I use SCM Catania color 113 and color 226.
Some scrap of grey, white, fuchsia and dark green cotton.

Crochet hooks : size 3 mm, 4 mm and 4,5 mm.
Tapestry needle.
Stitches (US):
ch = chain
st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
sts = stitches
Instructions:
Color 246 and color 226, take these 2 threads of yarn and crochet hook 4,5 mm.
Chain 25. Change hook 4 mm and sc in second ch from hook, * sc in each stitch, 1 ch (24 sts).
Repeat from * till 12 inches tall.
Roof:
Change color 246 into color 113 (purple).
Row 1: ch 3 , turn sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, work in back loop : sc in next sc till end, ch 3, turn.
This is a fold line for the flap, next rows work in both loops.
Row 2: sc in second ch from hook, sc in next sts till end , 2 sc in last stitch. (27 sts), ch 1 , turn.
Row 3 t/m 6: sc in sc, 2 sc in last stitch, ch 1, turn.
Row 7: sc in sc 15 times, ch 10 (loop for button), sc in same sc, sc in next sc till end , 2 sc in last stitch.
Embellishments:
Use hook 3 and one threads of cotton yarn.
Door:
White cotton, ch 8.
Row 1 : sc in second ch from hook, sc in each ch(7 sts), ch1, turn.
Row 2 t/m 10: sc in each sc, ch1, turn.
Change into grey, crochet sc around to make a border, in each corner : ch 2 to make the corners. Fasten of.
Grey cotton : Embroidery windows on the door.
Window:
White cotton : ch 10,
Row 1 : dc in third ch from hook, dc in each ch. (7 sts)
Row 2 : change into grey cotton, 7 times sc, don't fasten off.
Row 3 : change into white, ch 3 , 7 times dc. fasten off.
Take grey cotton and crochet sc around to make a border, in each corner ch 2 to make the corners.
Fasten off.
Grey cotton : Embroidery stripes for the window parts.
Butterfly:
Fuchsia : I take a pattern to make the butterfly. Link :Butterfly pattern
It is Dutch written, but there are a lot of tutorials in english also.
Grass and flowers:
Flowers : Purple cotton , make 3 flowers
Ch 4, close with sl st * ch 5 , sl st in ring repeat from * 4 times more.
Into ch 5 : 6 sc repeat till you finished 5 petals.
Grass and flower tails:
Dark green cotton : Ch 10, sl st in second ch from hook. * sl st in ch, repeat from * 5 times (this is the first flower tail). chain till you are between door and window, make a flower tail, repeat these steps till you have some flower tails and 6 inches grass, turn and sl st in each ch. Fasten off.
Shoulder strap:
Purple cotton : Chain 130, turn, sc in each ch. Change color, turn around corner and sc in ch loops.
Fasten off.
Finishing:
Sew on the butterfly, button, door, window, green grass and flowers as seen on the picture above.
Make the flower centre (fuchsia) with a French knot.
Join front and back together with sl st.
Sew on the shoulder strap.
Feel free to make your own embellishments. Your own house.
